President Trump promised to cut our utility bills in half within 18 months of taking office, but his policies, supported by his allies in congress, have caused electricity rates to soar. Instead of embracing affordable, American-made solar and wind energy, they blocked clean energy development and propped up aging, expensive fossil fuels. 

They even used billions of taxpayer dollars to pay off companies and block new renewable energy projects from coming onto the grid. Now, average U.S. residential electricity rates are more than 15 percent higher under their leadership.

These Cost Cutters fought to lower energy costs and expand affordable renewable energy options.
